HOPE & Zell Miller Grants

HOPE Grant

The HOPE grant is available to Georgia residents who are working towards a certificate or diploma at an eligible postsecondary institution in Georgia. 

Eligibility

Must be enrolled in a certificate or diploma program at a participating University System of Georgia or Technical College System of Georgia school.

Zell Miller Grant

 The Zell Miller grant is available to Georgia residents who are working towards a certificate or diploma at an eligible postsecondary institution in Georgia.

Eligibility

Must be enrolled in a certificate or diploma program at a participating University System of Georgia or Technical College System of Georgia school.  First term awarded retroactively after earning a minimum 3.5 or higher calculate HOPE grant GPA.

HOPE Career Grant

The HOPE Career Grant is available to HOPE Grant-qualified students who enroll in select majors specifically aligned with high-demand industries (i.e., when there are more jobs available in Georgia than there are skilled workers to fill them). It can be awarded with the other grants.
